Yria es negocio familiar, cuyos fundadores Ani y Ernesto, Ernesto y Ani, cuando cansados de ofrecer nuestro tiempo a otros, decidimos convertir nuestro hobby (la elaboración de cerveza artesana) en un estilo de vida. Como curiosidad Yria es el nombre de nuestra pequeña hija, que comparte edad con la propia marca.

Nacida en 2010, esta microcervecera ubicada en Valdemoro (Madrid), forma parte de las decanas peninsulares. Se caracteriza por su espíritu independiente, la experimentación, innovación y el constante aprendizaje.

Inicialmente, el sueño de montar una fábrica resultaba complicado debido a la falta de recursos, así que después de darle muchas vueltas y ver muchas opciones conocimos el sistema de “Gipsy brewing” que empezaba a utilizarse en otros países y que en España apenas era conocido. Consistía en alquilar las instalaciones de otras cerveceras para hacer nuestra marca, y poder así comercializar legalmente el producto.

Desde el nacimiento de la primera Yria golden ale (2010) en la fábrica Tyris de Valencia. Posteriormente fuimos fabricando en varias otras marcas hasta que decidimos poner en marcha nuestra propia microplanta en Noblejas, gracias a la ayuda del Ayuntamiento y mediante un proyecto colaborativo ,compartimos gastos y espacio con otra cervecera. Inicialmente con dos marcas Medina y el Oso y el Cuervo.

Las colaboraciones son la mejor manera de encontrar sinergias entre cerveceros de marcas tanto nacionales como internacionales. Consisten en hacer una cerveza maquinando una receta entre dos o más cerveceros, y fabricarla en “casa” de alguno. Muchas veces son de ida y vuelta.

En ellas siempre intentamos realizar estilos alejados de nuestra zona de confort. Dónde aprender nuevas técnicas, manejar nuevos equipos.. y pasar un rato agradable. Por eso suelen ser una práctica habitual.
