La cerveza artesana es una bebida que puede estar incluida dentro de una dieta saludable, ya que está elaborada a partir de ingredientes naturales (agua, cebada malteada, levadura y lúpulo).

A diferencia de las cervezas comerciales, la cerveza artesana no utiliza otras fuentes de hidratos de carbono (normalmente un cereal no malteado, como arroz), ni antioxidantes, ni estabilizante de espuma, ni colorantes, que permite intensificar y uniformiza el color del producto final.

Las cervezas artesanales no utilizan ningún aditivo artificial, el proceso de elaboración es manual desde el molido de las maltas hasta el embotellamiento y no sufre ningún proceso de filtración que disminuya sus propiedades nutritivas, ni de pasteurización que merme sus cualidades organolépticas.

Además la cerveza artesanal es elaborada en pequeñas cantidades para evitar su almacenamiento prolongado.

En definitiva, una buena cerveza artesana es elaborada por el maestro cervecero cuidando todos los detalles del proceso y por supuesto escogiendo las materias primas de mayor calidad y que da como resultado una cerveza artesana cuyas características de sabor, aroma, textura y espuma son agradables e incluso sorprendentes para quien la bebe.
