Cerex nace de la idea de dos jóvenes ingenieros agrónomos que en el año 2009, tras varias visitas a las fábricas cerveceras ubicadas en la región del sur de Baviera en Alemania deciden embarcarse en el proyecto de sus vidas y su gran pasión: la fabricación de cerveza. Cuatro años más tarde, tras concluir sus estudios de Braumeister (maestro cervecero) y una intensa investigación comercial del producto, surge Compañía de Cervezas de Extremadura, que llega a la región convirtiéndose en la primera planta de elaboración de cerveza en Extremadura del S.XXI, con presencia nacional e internacional en varios países europeos.

Hoy en día Cerveza Cerex dispone de un equipo completamente profesional que respeta la calidad y el proceso de elaboración llevado a cabo. En él, se controlan minuciosamente todos los parámetros que influyen en el acabado final y se emplean únicamente ingredientes naturales que hacen de Cerex un producto único. Ejemplo de ello es la Cerveza Cerex con sabor a bellota, primera del mundo en su especie.

Actualmente el equipo de Cerveza Cerex estudia en laboratorio la utilización de distintos cultivos de cepas de levadura salvaje y trabaja continuamente para ofrecerles nuevos estilos que pronto saldrán al mercado.

El resultado es una cerveza artesanal de calidad superior, elaborada con materias primas 100% naturales, en la cual se mima hasta el último detalle.
