This collaboration between Zeta Beer and Sesma Brewing reimagines the Straight Sour Beer through the lens of a classic Spanish leche merengada. Pouring an intense straw yellow, it offers a refreshing profile driven by a wild fermentation that yields organic acids reminiscent of traditional lambic. The aroma is dominated by zesty lemon peel and ripe fruit esters, supported by a clean, pale malt base. On the palate, a crisp lactic acidity balances the citrus brightness, while warm notes of cinnamon stick emerge gracefully in the finish as the glass warms.
