Dos Mares is an elegant collaboration that marries the crisp precision of a German Pils with the bold hop character of an India Pale Lager. The profile is defined by a distinctive addition of rye, which provides a peppery, sophisticated backbone to the sensory experience. High-intensity aromas of grapefruit and floral citrus from Cascade hops are layered with the resinous, earthy spice of Columbus. The malt base is refined and clean, allowing the hops and the rye's unique spiciness to take center stage. At 6.5% ABV, it is more robust than a traditional pilsner, yet it maintains a polished, dry finish and a fine, lingering bitterness.
