This Imperial Stout is a decadent collaboration presenting a complex sensory marriage of freshly roasted Finca San José coffee and deep vinous character from a year of maturation in Quinta do Portal Port wine barrels. The aroma is dominated by intensely fragrant Honduran coffee and dark chocolate, accented by notes of plum and raisin. On the palate, a thick, velvety sweetness of roasted malts meets the earthy, berry-like acidity of the coffee, while the distilled winery oak imparts subtle vanilla and fortified wine warmth. It concludes with a lingering, espresso-like bitterness and a sophisticated, spirit-forward finish that highlights its formidable strength.
