Soma Take A Break is a vibrant Double IPA that showcases a high-intensity hop profile driven by the trifecta of Motueka, Citra, and Idaho 7. The sensory experience begins with an explosion of lime zest and mojito-like brightness from the Motueka, quickly followed by the classic grapefruit and tropical mango notes of Citra. Idaho 7 adds a layer of pine resin and ripe stone fruit, grounding the citrus highs with a complex, slightly dank depth. Despite its 8% strength, the beer remains exceptionally drinkable, supported by a clean, neutral malt backbone that allows the hop saturation to shine against a dry, crisply bitter finish.
