This Double IPA presents a vivid sensory landscape driven by the innovative inclusion of Phantasm alongside a powerhouse trio of Citra, Riwaka, and Strata hops. The nose is a saturated explosion of tropical passionfruit and sauvignon blanc-like thiols, underpinned by the signature citrus zest of Citra and the complex red berry and dank herbal notes of Strata. On the palate, Riwaka contributes a distinct pink grapefruit and light diesel edge. Despite its strength, the beer remains exceptionally smooth with a lean, neutral malt backbone that allows the intense hop saturation and moderate bitterness to shine through a dry, lingering finish.
