This powerful Double IPA centers on the vibrant, multi-layered profile of Citra hops. Aromas of ripe passionfruit, zesty lime, and pink grapefruit dominate the senses, supported by a subtle, creamy sweetness from the addition of lactose. The palate delivers an intense wave of tropical fruit and citrus oils, counterbalanced by a firm, resinous bitterness that remains smooth rather than harsh. A clean, neutral malt base allows the Citra character to shine, while the lactose rounds out the mouthfeel, providing a silky texture that masks the strength of the alcohol. It finishes with a lingering, lupulin-rich resonance and a gentle, clean warmth.
