Soma / Península Block party

This Double IPA collaboration between Soma and Península presents a vibrant sensory explosion centered on its heavy-handed use of Amarillo, Strata, and Citra hops. The experience begins with a high-intensity bouquet of passion fruit, grapefruit, and dank resinous undertones. On the palate, the Strata hops lead with strawberry and tropical notes, while Citra provides a sharp citrus backbone of lime and orange peel. Amarillo adds a layer of floral peach sweetness. Despite the 8% ABV providing a smooth warmth, the finish remains dry and exceptionally hop-forward, supported by a clean, neutral malt base that allows the complex hop profile to shine with a firm, clean bitterness.
