Back to the East is a vibrant collaborative Hazy IPA from Península and Espiga that punches well above its 5% ABV. The sensory profile is defined by the unique use of Hornidal Kveik yeast, which drives an intense fermentation character of overripe pineapple and tropical stone fruit. These esters harmonize with a massive hop presence, delivering layers of mango and citrus. A bready, soft malt base provides a pillowy foundation for the 'juicy' flavors to flourish. It is a highly aromatic and refreshing expression that prioritizes fermentation complexity and hop saturation over bitterness, resulting in a modern, sessionable tropical experience.
