Península / Edge Brewing Quake

This Hazy IPA, a collaboration between Península and Edge Brewing, utilizes a Norwegian Kveik yeast strain to amplify a lush, tropical profile. The sensory experience is dominated by the interplay of Simcoe, Mosaic, and Columbus hops, delivering layers of ripe stone fruit, blueberry, and bright citrus. The Kveik fermentation contributes subtle orchard fruit esters that complement the juicy hop character. It presents a soft, pillowy texture and a deliberate haze, characteristic of the style, with a restrained bitterness that allows the vibrant hop oils and bready malt backbone to remain front and center through a clean, fruity finish.
