Northern Monk Patrons Project 17.02 Ethel Tropical IPA

This Hazy IPA is a saturated tropical showcase, defined by a massive addition of papaya, mango, and passion fruit. The papaya offers a unique, spicy counterpoint to the velvet-like sweetness of the mango and tartness of the passion fruit. A complex dry hop of El Dorado and Cashmere reinforces the stone fruit character, while Mosaic Cryo and Simcoe introduce layers of dank pine and zesty citrus. Brewed with a high percentage of oats and milk sugar, the mouthfeel is remarkably soft and pillowy. The house yeast strain provides a clean, supportive ester profile that lets the fruit and hops shine against a light, bready barley malt backbone.
