This Imperial Stout presents a decadent sensory landscape, forged from a complex grist including Munich and Special W malts. It pours a viscous, opaque black, releasing intense aromas of toasted coconut and creamy vanilla. The inclusion of Carafa Special I and Caramunich III provides a deep roasted foundation of bittersweet chocolate and espresso. Columbus hops contribute a firm bitterness that anchors the massive 12% ABV, while Carared and oat flakes lend a luscious, velvety texture. A subtle hint of smoke mingles with dark fruit esters, culminating in a warming, lingering finish of charred grain and sweet spice.
