La Pirata / Polly’s Hop Forward

This collaborative Hazy IPA, born from a virtual partnership between La Pirata and Polly’s Brew Co., is an exercise in extreme hop saturation. Utilizing an aggressive triple dry-hopping rate of 41 grams per liter, the sensory profile is dominated by an intense, multi-layered explosion of tropical fruit, succulent stone fruit, and bright citrus. The massive hop load creates a distinctively juicy experience without the sharp bitterness found in traditional West Coast styles. Beneath the fruit-forward aromatics, a clean, grainy malt base provides essential structure. It finishes with a soft, lingering fruitiness and the characteristic pillowy texture that defines the New England-style approach.
