Slow Life emerges as a sophisticated Straight Sour Beer, defined by a patient thirteen-month barrel residency. The initial four-month oak fermentation lays a woody foundation, followed by nine months in Chardonnay casks that imbue the profile with elegant vinous notes and delicate white grape nuances. A base of pale malt provides a subtle crackery backbone, allowing a clean, sharp lactic acidity to take center stage. Despite its extended aging, the character remains refined and refreshing, blending the tartness of green apple and lemon with sophisticated dry oak tannins and a whisper of buttery vanilla from the white wine barrels.
