Polybius is a vibrant Hazy Session IPA that showcases the expressive potential of New Zealand terroir. Dominated by the novel Peacharine hop, the profile is defined by a lush array of stone fruits, specifically ripe peach and nectarine, layered over a tropical foundation. These stone fruit notes are sharpened by the distinct, zesty lime character of Motueka and the grapefruit and piney resin provided by Waimea. Despite its hazy character, the beer remains exceptionally sessionable with a light, supporting malt backbone that allows the southern hemisphere hops to remain the primary focus through a clean, refreshing finish.
