This velvety Double IPA, a collaborative effort between Garage Beer Co, Tripping Animals, and Gross, showcases a sophisticated hop profile. It presents a pale milky yellow appearance, offering an aroma led by high-intensity notes of grapefruit, lime, and stone fruit peach derived from Citra and El Dorado hops. A resurgence of the classic Chinook hop adds a resinous layer of pine and sweet pineapple to the bouquet. The palate follows suit with a rich, smooth texture and a clean malt base that supports a firm but non-harsh bitterness. Despite its 8.5% strength, the beer maintains high drinkability with a lingering, hop-forward finish.
