This Double IPA, a collaboration between Espiga and Oso Brew Co, presents a striking hazy dark gold to amber appearance. The aroma is an intense bouquet of herbal and tropical notes driven by a heavy-handed addition of Citra, Simcoe, Cascade, and Hallertau Blanc hops. On the palate, a base of Pale Ale malt, oats, and wheat creates a remarkably silky and velvety texture that carries an explosion of mango, peach, and bright citrus. Despite its 8.5% ABV, the alcohol is expertly integrated, allowing the immense hop profile to shine.
