This Double IPA collaboration between Espiga and Northern Monk presents a lush, hazy profile driven by a heavy-handed dry-hopping of Citra, Simcoe, Cascade, and Hallertau Blanc. The aroma is dominated by vivid bursts of Mediterranean peach and white grape, underscored by bright citrus zest. A substantial grist of barley, wheat, and oats creates a remarkably silky, pillowy texture that carries these hop-derived flavors across the palate. Despite its 8% strength, the finish remains balanced, integrating subtle resinous notes with a soft, grain-forward malt base of barley and oats that smooths out the firm bitterness typical of the style.
