This Imperial Stout, a collaboration with Laugar, presents a sophisticated sensory profile shaped by six months of Bourbon barrel aging. The pour reveals an intense black hue and a persistent, creamy foam. On the nose and palate, dominant notes of specialty cocoa—inspired by Penedès Catànies—meld seamlessly with aromatic vanilla and a whisper of red fruits. The integration of roasted malts and lactose creates a remarkably smooth, unctuous experience despite the high alcohol content. The barrel influence contributes wood-derived depth, softening the roast and enhancing the luxurious, chocolate-forward character of this decadent, dark ale.
