Espiga / La Pirata Yo Hops

This collaboration between Espiga and La Pirata yields a modern, monovarietal American Pale Ale defined by the intense application of Riwaka hops. The double dry-hopped treatment results in a vibrant, hazy yellow pour. Aromatically, the Riwaka variety dominates with a persistent citrus profile, showcasing notes of pink grapefruit and lemon zest alongside subtle herbal undertones. The grist, featuring Low Colour Maris Otter supplemented by oat malt and oat flakes, provides a soft, bready foundation that balances the hop-forward character. It concludes with a crisp, dry finish and a restrained bitterness, making for an exceptionally drinkable and aromatic sensory experience.
