Boga / La Calavera Redvolution

This Red IPA, a collaboration between Boga and La Calavera, presents a vibrant sensory balance between assertive New World hops and complex specialty malts. A foundational grist of Extra Pale Ale and CaraRed provides a deep toasted caramel sweetness, while Red Rye adds a subtle spicy edge and Roasted Barley contributes to its deep hue. The hop profile is exceptionally broad, utilizing Columbus, Cascade, Simcoe, Citra, and Amarillo to deliver a multi-layered bouquet of citrus zest, tropical mango, and resinous pine. The experience culminates in a firm, lingering bitterness and a dry finish, showcasing the classic intensity of a well-crafted Specialty IPA.
