This celebratory Double IPA, crafted for Catraio’s 8th anniversary, presents a vibrant sensory profile that bridges modern haze with classic potency. Pouring a deep golden with a persistent white head, it releases high-intensity aromas of sweet mandarin and ripe pineapple, supported by sharp pink grapefruit and exotic passion fruit. The palate is dominated by a hop-forward explosion of tropical flavors, balanced against a clean, unobtrusive malt backbone. Despite its full-bodied texture and 8.5% ABV, it maintains excellent drinkability, culminating in a firm, lingering bitterness that defines the style's assertive character while remaining exceptionally well-balanced.
