Invitamos al equipo de White Labs a visitar Basqueland, y llegaron con un lote de levadura fresca WLP001 California Ale. Juntos, elaboramos esta American Rye IPA, una cerveza de colaboración con una mezcla de maltas de centeno que le confiere un carácter especiado. Además, utilizamos maltas Vienna y Carapils para redondear el cuerpo de la cerveza y lúpulos Comet y Citra tanto en la fase caliente como en el dry-hopping. El resultado es una cerveza muy bebestible que en nariz muestra una mezcla de notas a pan y especias entrelazadas con toques vibrantes de pomelo, melón y notas herbales. En boca, destaca por ser limpia, seca y agradablemente amarga.

We asked the folks at White Labs to swing by Basqueland with some fresh WLP001 California Ale yeast, and together, we brewed up this American Rye IPA. The outcome is a collaborative beer featuring a malt grist of Rye malts, giving it a spicy character together with Vienna and Carapils to round out the body. We used Comet and Citra hops on both the hot side and for dry-hopping. Anticipate a blend of bread and spice notes mingling with lively grapefruit, melon, and herbal accents, resulting in a clean, dry, and pleasantly bitter sip.
