Basqueland Maverick is a vibrant Hazy IPA that showcases a sophisticated blend of Southern Hemisphere and Pacific Northwest hops. The double dry-hop addition of Pacific Jade and Rakau introduces luscious stone fruit and soft citrus notes, while Azacca Cryo and Simcoe contribute layers of tropical pineapple and resinous pine. On the palate, the hop intensity is high but balanced by a soft, pillowy texture typical of the style. The malt base remains cleanly supportive, offering a bready foundation that allows the complex, extra-lupulizada hop profile to shine without overwhelming bitterness, finishing with a lingering, juicy fruit essence.
