This Imperial Stout emerges from a sixteen-month maturation in Pedro Ximénez, French oak, and maple syrup barrels, creating a profound sensory experience. The pour reveals viscous, obsidian depths topped with a dense, mocha foam. Aromas are intense, blending dark chocolate and rich maple with the vinous character of overripe grapes and dried figs. On the palate, a pronounced sweetness reminiscent of fortified wine is balanced by the structural tannins of French oak.
