This Imperial Stout is a decadent homage to the classic café con leche, merging a robust roasted foundation with creamy lactose and premium Sakona coffee. The sensory profile is dominated by the complex Guatemalan beans—specifically the Catuaí, Caturra, and Bourbon varieties—which impart deep espresso notes, subtle red fruit acidity, and a smooth nuttiness. The addition of lactose provides a velvety, latte-like texture that softens the formidable 11% ABV. Rich bittersweet chocolate and charred grain from the dark malts harmonize with the coffee-forward character, finishing with a lingering balance of roasted bitterness and milky sweetness.
