This celebratory Double IPA, crafted for Basqueland’s 9th anniversary, evokes the intensity of a grilled steak through its layered hop complexity. A vibrant citrus opening from Citra and Krush Hyperboost provides a bright, searing freshness akin to a golden crust. The heart of the beer transitions into deep, resinous, and dank notes driven by Mosaic, reminiscent of slow-cooked embers. A succulent tropical melange of pineapple and mango emerges from Nectaron, creating a juicy, lush center. The addition of oats alongside barley malts delivers a signature creamy density, ensuring a full, velvety experience that balances high bitterness with a smooth, lingering finish.
