This Double IPA, a collaboration with Oddity Brewing, presents an assertive hop-forward profile that prioritizes aromatics and drinkability. The sensory experience is led by a potent blend of Motueka, Citra, Rakau, and Azacca, which creates a layered bouquet of zesty lime, ripe peach, and tropical mango. A neutral, grainy malt base provides a lean foundation, allowing the firm bitterness to remain crisp and clean. The finish is remarkably dry for its 8% strength, characterized by a lingering citrus pith aftertaste and resinous depth. It embodies the modern focus on intense hop saturation without the heavy, cloying sweetness of traditional strong ales.
