This collaboration between Basqueland and Malandar delivers a Hazy IPA that celebrates New Zealand hops with a dense, luminous pour. The sensory profile is dominated by a vibrant, tropical intensity, layering notes of passion fruit, guava, and a distinct white grape character typical of Southern Hemisphere varieties. A soft, pillowy malt backbone provides a bready foundation that supports the high hop saturation without veering into sweetness. The experience is exceptionally smooth, featuring a restrained bitterness that allows the lush fruit esters and hop-derived oils to take center stage, finishing with a clean, lingering resonance of lime zest and stone fruit.
