This Imperial Stout is a decadent collaboration between Basqueland and Lervig, presenting an opaque, jet-black pour with remarkable viscosity. The sensory profile is dominated by an indulgent dessert character, weaving together rich layers of cacao and dark chocolate with the sweet, creamy influence of lactose. Significant additions of toasted coconut and aromatic vanilla create a lush, tropical-confectionery depth, while the inclusion of cookies provides a distinct baked-goods maltiness. A base of barley and oats ensures a chewy, full-bodied texture that carries the 12% ABV with integrated warmth, finishing with a lingering, velvety, sweet-balanced richness.
