Basqueland / La Pirata Abordaia

This Imperial Stout, a collaboration between Basqueland and La Pirata, offers a decadently smooth profile centered on rich roasted malts and specialty adjuncts. Deep aromas of bittersweet chocolate and espresso are lifted by the aromatic sweetness of vanilla and the complex, molasses-like depth of Moscovado sugar. Despite its 9% ABV, it maintains a remarkably approachable character, balancing the intense roast with a velvety sweetness. The finish is long and harmonious, weaving together dark fruit esters with a lingering, creamy vanilla bean note and a gentle, integrated alcohol warmth that reflects its robust heritage.
