Basqueland / Deya Chop Chop

This celebratory New Zealand Double IPA, a collaboration between Basqueland and Deya, presents a lush, tropical-forward profile designed for intensity. Utilizing Motueka and Rakau hops, it delivers an explosion of ripe pineapple and intense cantaloupe melon. The addition of flaked and malted oats, alongside maltodextrin, creates a velvety, medium-to-full body that carries the hop oils across the palate with precision. While maintaining a firm hop presence, the malt character remains supportive and grainy, allowing the southern hemisphere hop character to shine. It concludes with a clean, smooth warmth, balancing its 8% strength with a modern, fruit-driven intensity.
