Alhambra Amontillado is an elevated interpretation of an American Lager, transformed through extended maturation in Amontillado sherry oak barrels. The clean lager foundation allows the wood-driven nuances to flourish, presenting a brilliant amber-to-chestnut hue with a resilient foam head. The aromatic profile is remarkably complex for the style, merging subtle caramel maltiness with distinctive sherry-like notes of raisins, toasted coconut, and vanilla. On the palate, the barrel influence introduces layers of dried fruit and seasoned wood, balanced by a very light bitterness. Despite its 7.1% strength, it maintains a sophisticated, dry finish with a refined oak character and lingering fruity depth.
